Leadership
At Compass Business Consulting, we know that leadership can be learned, it can be improved, it can be developed.
Organizations with good leaders become good organizations. Organizations with great leaders become great organizations. Organizations with poor leaders...they struggle.
Leadership underpins the foundation, the very structure, of an organization.
Poor leadership results in organizations with poor morale, poor performance, bad attitudes and unproductive behaviors. Organizations that are poorly led are not fun places to work and typically receive minimal effort from employees.
Poor leaders focus on the wrong things, say the wrong things, and often care more about themselves than they do their employees. Poor leadership is often selfish leadership. Poor leaders use, and sometimes abuse, people as a means to a selfish end.
The best leaders, whether seniors, peers or subordinates, all have one thing in common -- they genuinely care about people and about accomplishing the mission. They realize that the best way to do the latter, is to start with the former.
If you genuinely care about people, you have the potential to become a great leader.
Business owners are leaders.
What kind of leader are you?
Can you be better?
Do you want to be better?
