Drew Schlaepfer, President

Born and raised in Ithaca, New York, Drew is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he earned a B.S. in Political Science. He later earned a Master's Degree in Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Drew was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He spent 21 years as a Marine Infantry Officer. Major assignments included Operations Officer of a Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Operations Capable - an organization of over 4,000 Marines and Sailors, and command of a Marine Infantry Battalion of over 1,200 Marines and Sailors. Drew served as a rifle company commander in combat during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm where he was awarded a Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V," and was the operations officer during the securing and recovery of the USS Cole following the terrorist attack on the ship in Yemen.
Drew is an honor graduate of the Marine Corps Amphibious Warfare School and graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College and U.S. Army Ranger School. Drew has also been awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal.
Upon retirement from the Marine Corps, Drew entered the corporate world and worked as a Director of Operations for a large retail chain in the Virginia and Washington D.C. areas. He migrated south and began work as a full-time Business Management and Leadership Consultant based out of Tampa, Florida.
Bringing his vast leadership and management experience to his business consulting, Drew works with small and mid-sized companies helping them to develop winning organizations and teams that are built on solid foundations; and individuals, coaching them to achieve their full potential. The fundamental building blocks of that solid foundation include: leadership, vision, values, organizational structure, goals, planning, efficient processes and procedures, well-defined roles and responsibilities, performance evaluations, incentives, accountability, communication and associate development.
Drew has worked with numerous companies and has conducted leadership and stress management training with various organizations including the SEC and Big 10 college football officials and all college football replay official in the United States. He has coached executives in numerous organizations throughout the United States, including executives at the U.S. Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. Drew serves as a coach and compass to help leaders navigate through their current challenges and build the solid foundation organizations need to succeed now and in the future.
Drew is a Birkman Certified Consultant who is passionate about the value the Birkman Method brings to individual leaders and organizations. He uses the Birkman Method to help companies in their hiring, selection, retention and retirement processes. He also uses this tool to assist in individual development, to include coaching and executive coaching, conflict and crisis management, leadership development and team building, culture and diversity training, stress management and relationship building.
Drew earned his Professional Coach Certification (PCC), credentialed through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Drew is an accomplished public speaker, lecturing to various organizations throughout the United States.
